A family beach suburb on a narrow inlet with grass terraces, ocean baths and the rare-for-Sydney bowling green that overlooks the beach. Mostly Federation cottages and a small apartment cluster around the cafe strip. Quieter than Coogee or Bondi. Suits established families wanting a tightly-held beachside village with a strong school catchment.
