We believe a great school produces successful learners through the achievement of academic, social and personal bests.

It is responsive to students, staff and the community and is focussed on building dynamic relationships between them. Turramurra High School is situated in a well-established residential area on Sydney's North Shore.

The school adjoins Lane Cove National Park, providing a quiet bushland environment. The school was established as a co-educational comprehensive high school in 1967.

Students are drawn from a wide area, and many travel to school by train and/or bus. Nevertheless, the school has close ties with its community, and has a reputation for achievement in academic studies, the creative arts and competitive sport.

The school has well-established links with university partners and local community organisations. We enjoy a long-standing relationship with sister schools in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan which involves reciprocal visits enhancing language skills and cultural understanding.
